Creepypasta being creepy by MuffinMuffinz Creepypasta being creepy by MuffinMuffinz
I support :bucktooth:

EDIT: I'm deciding to put this in my scraps cause the views and favorites on this is ridiculous and I don't want this to be my most viewed deviation.

I like creepypastas that are actually WORTH reading. Not stupid crap like Eyeless Jack or Cupcakes.

What about new creepypastas that were either the writer's firsts or not? Take me, I wrote my first Hetalia lost episode creepypasta.

"I wrote my first Hetalia lost episode creepypasta."

That's the exact shit I'm talking about with Creepypasta, it's obviously fake, and it tries to hard to be real. The story isn't even scary! If you don't know who to make a good, creepy, structured story, don't go writing shit!!!!

That has got to be the most insulting thing I have heard. Just because it's a writer's first creepypasta doesn't give you the right to make an insulting comment on it. Instead of saying "THIS CREEPYPASTA SUCKS GO DIE!" leave a civil critique or review. What you said actually hurts the writer. S/he did her best on writing a creepypasta. S/he may not know how to make good horror stories like creepypastas, but it doesn't give you the right to give flat-out insults just because it's his/her first attempt at making one. Instead of making harsh comments and insults on the writer's first creepypasta, say in a civil manner, "Even though it's not creepy to me, I think you have some potential at making a horror story. Keep it up!" Same thing goes for writers who were just starting out.

Either you be nice and leave a civil comment to a writer who's just starting out or else shut your pie hole. It's simple as that.

"That has got to be the most insulting thing I have heard."

Oh no someone insulted my Creepypasta!! Oh no!!!! Boo hoo, grow up. The whole world isn't gonna approve of your Creepypasta.

"Just because it's a writer's first creepypasta doesn't give you the right to make an insulting comment on it."

No one is forcing me to to like your Creepypasta, and I have the right to dislike it.

"Instead of saying "THIS CREEPYPASTA SUCKS GO DIE!" leave a civil critique or review."

I never said for it to die, I just said I don't like it. And I have my reasons for disliking it, for one, there's a crap load of Creepypastas that try to hard to be real like that one, so there's no surprise I'm gonna dislike it.

"What you said actually hurts the writer. S/he did her best on writing a creepypasta."

Writers are suppose to realize not everyone is gonna like their piece of work, they can like it themselves, but they aren't gonna stop writing because of them. I don't see Stephen King getting offended when someone dislikes his piece of work. Just look at this stamp! fav.me/d4ibl98

"S/he may not know how to make good horror stories like creepypastas, but it doesn't give you the right to give flat-out insults just because it's his/her first attempt at making one."

Making Creepypastas is a CHOICE. Now, I'm not forcing anyone to stop writing them but I think I would like it if there were less crappy ones. Creepypastas however, blandly feels the same and if you have a lot of Creepypastas that feel the same, it's best to start making Creepypastas that stand out a bit more, something with less cliches. Which would you rather watch, a cheesy horror movie that spams blood, or a well made horror movie that's SCARY? I would go with the well structured horror movie, not the cheesy one. The same applies to Creepypastas. Personally, I suck at drawing, but I rather not make crappy pictures everyone is gonna hate. If I did wanted to continue drawing, I would ask people how I could make it better, not tell them to like it.

"Instead of making harsh comments and insults on the writer's first creepypasta, say in a civil manner, 'Even though it's not creepy to me, I think you have some potential at making a horror story. Keep it up!'"

So your telling me, I'm suppose to convince a writer to keep making more shitty pastas. I would critique on why the Creepypasta is crappy, but I won't tell the writer to keep writing more crap because that's only going make more terrible pastas. Like I said, not all 7 billion people in the world are gonna like YOUR Creepypasta, so instead of going crazy every time someone dislikes it, ask them how you can do better.

"Either you be nice and leave a civil comment to a writer who's just starting out or else shut your pie hole. It's simple as that."

By civil, you mean kissing your ass right? Because I'm forced to like your story, and if I don't like it, I'm not civil.

*sighs* All I said is "What about new creepypastas that were either the writer's firsts or not? Take me, I wrote my first Hetalia lost episode creepypasta."

You replied, in a harsh manner, "
That's the exact shit I'm talking about with Creepypasta, it's obviously fake, and it tries to hard to be real. The story isn't even scary! If you don't know who to make a good, creepy, structured story, don't go writing shit!!!!"

If you don't know who to make a good, creepy, structured story, don't go writing shit!!!!

That last sentence was a flat-out insult. I get it that nobody is going to like my first creepypasta. But if they didn't or don't like it, they can either not comment at all, or at least give a polite review, whether they like it or not. That is all I am saying here. You don't like my first creepypasta, that's fine. Just be smart and don't make scathing comments ending with the last sentence I mentioned (in bold), and leave a fair critique on what needs or doesn't need to be changed.

If you seriously think I'm butthurt, you're dead wrong. I could take a simple "I don't like this" though, if I wanted to, I would ask why (mostly out of curiosity), the least you could do is answer in a civil manner instead of talking about how shitty this is.

"So your telling me, I'm suppose to convince a writer to keep making more shitty pastas. I would critique on why the Creepypasta is crappy, but I won't tell the writer to keep writing more crap because that's only going make more terrible pastas."

If you want to critique on why the pasta itself is not all that good, at least be polite about it and offer a little encouragement to the creepypasta writer. S/he might come up with an original pasta one day. Besides, there are actually good creepypastas out there, you just have to look and not waste your time giving flat-out insults and scathing comments to first time creepypasta writers. Like I said, they are trying their best and would love a little encouragement from people who read them for the first time.

"By civil, you mean kissing your ass right? Because I'm forced to like your story, and if I don't like it, I'm not civil."

Nobody's forcing you to like it. Being civil doesn't mean kissing anybody's ass. It's for the sake of being civil because it's slowly draining away as we speak. If you don't like it, you don't like it. The most civil thing you can do is either leave a polite comment one what needs to be changed or not comment at all. Simple as that.

Exactly. The only creepypasta I like is Zalgo, the rest were either horrible or fucked up by the fan girls (like BEN).

You compensate it by liking Zalgo (and hating Fluttershit). (Sorry, Dash, but the place of favourite fictional character is not yours. :iconawesomefaceplz:)
